We've taken a morning twist on this light and filling couscous. Our Caribbean Couscous includes a flavorful blend of delicious pineapple, mango, cashews, and toasted coconut flakes and is finished with coconut milk and honey.

Caribbean Couscous

MINIMUM EQUIPMENT: Pot, stove, serving spoon or spatula, bowl.

MEAL PREPARATION

  1. In a pot, combine couscous, fruit nut mix, coconut milk powder, and sugar.
  1. Add just enough water to cover the ingredients.  Stir thoroughly.
  1. Bring mix to a boil, cover and simmer.  Cook couscous to desired tenderness (approximately 8 minutes) stirring occasionally
  1. Top with honey and serve.

TIP: Cover pot to decrease cook time and save fuel.
